Auvergne volcanoes remain the region’s main draws, located in the center of France, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 2018, it’s an emblematic place for hikers and cyclists.

The Puy de Sancy is the highest French Volcano of the Massif Central with its 1885 meters and its Mont-Dore resort.

There is no shortage of activities to discover this region : hiking, cycling, swimming, paragliding, hot air ballooning, horse riding, mountain biking, skiing, etc.

Auvergne is the first region in Europe for its richest mineral waters, with 109 water sources, which explains the number of towns providing treatment of many pathologies : Le Mont-Dore, La Bourboule, Royat Chamalières, Vichy, Archambault, Chaudes Aigues.

Winter sports

At an altitude of 1325 m from The Puy de Sancy, the resort of Le Mont-dore offers dowhill skiing, cross-country, skiing and snowshoe walks, from December to March.

The resort has  41 km of slopes, with the link of the town of Super Besse 84 km of slopes for all skiers.
